KickFlip is a mobile social app for skaters, designed to bring together spots, clips, and local communities in one place. The project started from the need to move beyond traditional, text-heavy social media and create a visual, community-driven platform where skaters can discover new locations, share footage, and plan sessions with their crews in a space that feels native to skate culture.

- Make it easy for users to discover and save skate spots, see real footage from those locations, and plan sessions with friends
- Provide a scalable UI system that supports future features like events, challenges, and brand collaborations
Scope
- UX research & persona definition for core user groups: street skaters, filmers, and skate crews
- Design of end‑to‑end mobile flows: onboarding, spot discovery, feed, clip uploading, profiles, likes/comments, and messaging
- Creation of a visual identity and UI kit tailored to skate culture (bold typography, energetic color accents, motion‑friendly layouts)

Outcomes
Delivered a cohesive mobile experience where skaters can seamlessly move from discovering spots to filming and sharing clips, turning the app into a daily habit
