This project focused on redesigning an automotive e‑commerce platform that sells classic car parts to enthusiasts and professional garages worldwide. The previous website suffered from cluttered navigation, inconsistent product layouts, and a dated visual language, making it hard for users to quickly find compatible parts for their specific models

CVR: Redesign of Automotive E-commerce

Goals
- Make it effortless for users to start from their car model and drill down to the exact compatible parts, reducing misorders and frustration
- Boost product discovery with intuitive navigation, curated collections, and advanced search
- Increase conversion rate and basket size by simplifying the add‑to‑cart flow and highlighting related or frequently bought‑together parts
Scope
- UX audit & heuristic review of the legacy store: navigation, filters, product pages, search behavior, and checkout entry points
- Restructuring of information architecture around car models, part categories, and use cases
- UI redesign of homepage, category pages, product listing pages (PLPs), and product detail pages (PDPs) with a modern, trust‑oriented look

Outcomes
Delivered a modernized storefront that turns a previously catalog‑like experience into a guided shopping journey: users can choose their model first, then browse only relevant categories and parts
Introduced structured product cards and PDPs with compatibility info, specs, and recommendations, helping users buy with confidence and supporting higher average order values
Cleaned up navigation and page layouts, which reduced visual noise and made key trust signals (1‑year warranty, secure payments, fast worldwide shipping) far more prominent
We redesign e‑commerce experiences to be clearer, faster, and more profitable. especially for complex catalogs like auto parts
